Overview
The POWER 31500200300C is a 300 yard spool of braided fishing line rated at 20 pounds, in an aqua green color, weighing 2.56 ounces.
Braided line offers a thin diameter for its strength compared to monofilament, which helps with casting distance and line capacity on a reel. The aqua green color gives moderate visibility above water while staying less obtrusive underwater than brighter colors.
- 20 lb rated braid
- 300 yards
- Aqua green color
- 2.56 oz spool
Who it's for
Fits anglers who want a 20 lb braided main line for spinning or casting reels. Not intended as a leader material, which is typically fluorocarbon or mono tied to the braid's end.
Pros and cons
- 300 yards of line capacity per spool
- Thin diameter relative to 20 lb strength
- Aqua green for above water visibility
- No stated abrasion resistance data
- May need a leader for underwater stealth
Performance notes
As a blend braided line, the thinner diameter relative to its 20 lb rating lets more line fit on a spool and cuts wind resistance on the cast, common advantages of braid over monofilament. The tradeoff is that braid is more visible underwater, so many anglers add a fluorocarbon leader.
