Overview
Tama ships the Imperialstar as a complete kit with poplar shells, stage ready hardware and Meinl cymbals. Two floor toms and a full size bass drum give a big setup that needs only sticks to play.
Everything in one box takes the guesswork out of a first serious kit. The included cymbals and heads are starter grade, so upgrades often follow.
Who it's for
Suited to beginners, students and garage bands needing a full setup at once. Drummers with their own hardware should buy a shell pack.
Pros and cons
