Overview
Tama builds the Club-JAM Flyer as a compact four-piece shell pack, with a small bass drum raised on a lifter, a tom, a floor tom and a snare. Mersawa and poplar shells give a fuller sound than the size suggests.
Its small footprint fits coffee shops and tight stages where a full kit will not. Stands, pedals and cymbals are not part of the listed pack.
Who it's for
Working drummers doing acoustic gigs, small clubs and travel. New players needing everything in one box should look at a complete kit.
Pros and cons
- Very compact sizes
- Bass drum lifter included
- Easy to transport
- Hardware not listed
- Cymbals not listed
- Bag set sold separately
Performance notes
Small shells produce a higher, tighter pitch, and tuning plus head choice decide how full they sound. The bass drum lifter raises the beater strike point for more punch from the small drum.
