Overview
A clear, weather resistant acrylic funnel collects rain into a polyresin frog figure, and the funnel lifts out for emptying or cleaning.
Garden decor and rainfall tracking in one: the frog look suits a deck or border, and the funnel lifts out to empty or clean. The limitation is that it is a small manual gauge, so totals above its scale are not captured.
Who it's for
Gardeners who like a cute figure and want to see last night's precipitation will enjoy it. The standing design is for a table or flat surface. Anyone needing electronic readings or large totals should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Decorative frog design
- Weather resistant acrylic
- Two year warranty
- Manual reading only
- Small measuring range
Performance notes
Rain falls into the funnel and drains into the body, where the level is read by eye. Lifting out the funnel makes it simple to empty or clean after each rain. Placement on a level surface away from overhangs matters for true readings.
