Overview
Shooting, passing and dribbling on an indoor court are what the Wilson Evo NXT is sold for, with a composite cover on a full size adult ball. The spec sheet lists the cover material, weight and size without detailing the panel or channel design.
A composite cover and full adult sizing make the Evo NXT a straightforward choice for indoor games. The listing is thin, though: no grip technology, inflation pressure or outdoor rating is stated, and one component line calls it an intermediate ball.
Who it's for
Gym runs, rec leagues and practice sessions on indoor floors match the title of this ball. Outdoor players and younger kids who need a smaller size should shop elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Composite cover for indoor play
- Full adult size
- Limited warranty from Wilson
- Indoor use only per the title
- Inflation pressure not listed
- Component line says intermediate, size says full
Performance notes
Grip on an indoor ball comes from the composite cover's texture and how it responds to sweat and dust on the floor. Rough outdoor surfaces wear a composite cover down, which dulls its feel over time. Inflation sets bounce height, so check the ball's pressure before play.
