Overview
An adult size FIBA approved basketball from Molten at 28.5 inches, built with the brand's 12 panel two tone design over a synthetic cover and a butyl bladder.
Molten balls are widely used in international and collegiate play, and this model carries FIBA approval on a synthetic indoor/outdoor cover rather than the leather covers used on Molten's top competition balls. The butyl bladder is the same air retention component used across Molten's wider lineup.
- FIBA Approved certification
- 28.5 inch adult size
- 12 panel two tone cover
- Butyl bladder construction
Who it's for
Fits players and coaches who want a FIBA approved ball for organized play without paying for a leather competition model. Not the pick for someone who wants a genuine leather indoor game ball.
Pros and cons
- FIBA approved for organized play
- 28.5 inch adult size
- 12 panel two tone design
- Butyl bladder for air retention
- Synthetic cover rather than leather
Performance notes
The 12 panel two tone cover and butyl bladder follow the same construction approach used across Molten's approved balls, with the synthetic cover suited to both indoor and outdoor surfaces rather than gym-only leather. Like most basketballs it ships deflated, so inflating it to spec is the first step before play.
