Overview
Oracal Series Seven Fifty One is a thin intermediate vinyl with a permanent, solvent based adhesive for decals and lettering. It cuts on Cricut, Silhouette and other plotters and bonds to smooth, non porous surfaces indoors or out.
Outdoor durability and a thin, conformable film make it a staple for car decals and signs. The permanent glue makes repositioning or clean removal difficult.
Who it's for
Vinyl crafters and small sign makers get a roll ready for weather exposed jobs. Renters and anyone decorating walls they cannot damage should use a removable grade.
Pros and cons
- Long rated outdoor life
- Thin, conformable film
- Resists water, heat and cold
- Works with common vinyl cutters
- Permanent glue resists clean removal
- Needs smooth, non porous surfaces
- Description mentions gloss despite matte color
Performance notes
A thin film bends over curves without lifting, while the solvent based glue grows its bond over time on smooth surfaces. Textured or porous surfaces give the adhesive less contact, so edges lift sooner.
