Overview
Not a uniform factory finish, the weathered gray on this Playcraft table is built up with semi-transparent stains over brown wood, so color varies from board to board. The trestle legs and hand finishing follow an old world look.
A rustic finish and a slate and maple surface make it a furniture-style game table for a den. The limits are heavy weight, required assembly and a box list that says only accessories without naming them.
Who it's for
A den or game room with space for a twelve foot table and a plan for assembly help. Buyers who need exact color matching, or who want a lighter table, should look at other models.
Pros and cons
- Maple and slate playing surface
- Trestle leg design
- Hand finished weathered look
- One year manufacturer warranty
- Accessories not named
- Color varies between tables
- Assembly required and heavy
Performance notes
Puck glide depends on a flat run, and the slate and maple surface plus the trestle base supply it. Because the weathered stain is applied by hand, tone and grain look different on every table.
