Overview
Dribbling on a driveway or a gym floor both suit the Wilson NCAA Street Shot, an intermediate rubber ball with Total Grip Technology for a soft, palmable surface. A pressure lock bladder holds air longer, and deep channels add grip points.
Grip and softness in a tough rubber cover make it easier for younger hands to control on rough outdoor courts. Players wanting the feel of a composite indoor game ball will find rubber firmer and less tacky.
Who it's for
Girls from their early teens up and boys around twelve and thirteen playing on mixed surfaces will be well served. Older boys need a larger official size, and indoor league players may want a composite cover.
Pros and cons
- Rubber cover handles outdoor courts
- Soft grip helps palm the ball
- Deep channels for dribble control
- Bladder improves air retention
- Rubber feels firmer than composite
- Ships with no pump listed
- Not an official size for older boys
Performance notes
Control comes from the soft grip surface and the deeper channels between panels, which give fingers more contact points. The rubber cover resists abrasion on concrete. The pressure lock bladder slows air loss, so bounce stays consistent between top ups.
