Overview
Printing a color report from a phone or scanning a contract into the HP Smart app happens on the HP Color LaserJet all in one. Dual band Wi-Fi holds the connection, and JetIntelligence toner powers color and black output.
Color laser output with mobile control makes it practical for small business documents and flyers. Firmware blocks cartridges with non-HP chips, so third party toner is not an option.
Who it's for
Suited to small teams printing color documents at modest volume. High volume shops will want faster speeds.
Pros and cons
- Color laser output
- Dual band Wi-Fi
- Mobile shortcuts in HP Smart
- Built in security essentials
- Third party cartridges blocked
- Modest print speed
- Duplex printing not mentioned
Performance notes
Print speed is modest, so long color jobs take time. Dual band Wi-Fi helps the connection stay steady in busy wireless areas. Toner chips are checked by firmware, which rejects non-HP cartridges.
