Overview

This Fitvids IP plate is a single cast iron weight plate with a 2 inch center hole sized for Olympic bars, weighing 4.54 kilograms, roughly 10 pounds.

The listing covers one plate, not a pair or set, so buyers stacking a full bar will need to order multiples to hit their target load. Cast iron is standard for this plate category, and the 2 inch bore fits Olympic sleeves rather than standard 1 inch bars.

Sold as 1 plate

Who it's for

Works for someone building out an Olympic plate collection one weight at a time. Not a fit for a standard 1 inch bar, since the 2 inch center hole is sized for Olympic sleeves.

Pros and cons

Pros

2 inch center hole fits standard Olympic bars
Cast iron holds its weight over time
Sold individually so you can buy the exact count needed

Cons

Only one plate per listing, not a pair or set
Won't fit 1 inch standard bars

Performance notes

Cast iron plates like this hold their calibrated weight over years of use and don't compress the way rubber-coated plates can over time, though they tend to be noisier when racked or set down.
