Overview
Homeowners wanting a bidet without wiring get the Kohler PureWash M300, a manual elongated seat that connects to the toilet water supply line. A handle runs a dual spray wand for front and rear cleansing, and the lid closes quietly instead of slamming.
Buy it for front and rear washing without electrical work, plus a low-profile seat that replaces the old one. Comfort features like a heated seat or dryer are absent, and the handle finish is described two ways in the listing.
Who it's for
Bathrooms without a nearby outlet can add bidet washing through a plain manual seat on an elongated bowl. Owners of round toilets, or people set on heated features, need a different seat.
Pros and cons
- Needs no outlet or batteries
- Front and rear spray modes
- Lid closes without slamming
- Quick-release hinges for removal
- Warm water option not listed
- No electric comfort features
- Handle finish listed as white and chrome
- Elongated bowls only
Performance notes
Spray comes from household water pressure through the supply line, so pressure at the toilet governs wash strength. The handle sets which part of the dual wand runs. With no power there is no heater, so the water feels like the tap supply.
