Overview
A swivel cover rotates to expose either a USB-C or a USB-A plug on this SanDisk drive, so one stick fits a phone, a tablet and an older computer. The Memory Zone app backs up phone photos automatically.
Two connectors on one stick mean no adapters when moving photos from a USB-C phone to a laptop. The listing description names a different capacity than the bullets, which is worth confirming.
Who it's for
Android and newer iPhone users with USB-C, plus laptop users with either port type, get an easy transfer stick. Phones without USB-C or OTG support cannot use the phone end.
Pros and cons
- USB-C and USB-A on one drive
- Swivel cover, no cap to lose
- Fast USB 3.1 transfers
- Automatic phone backup app
- Capacity listed two ways
- Phone needs OTG support
- Dimensions not listed
Performance notes
Transfer speed depends on the port: the fast USB link reaches top speed on current ports and slows on older ones. The swivel shields the unused connector from dust. The phone must support OTG for the USB-C side to mount as storage.
