Overview
Golfers who burn through balls every round get three dozen TaylorMade Rocketballz in one order, built for distance with a high energy REACT core. A soft ionomer cover gives a responsive feel around the greens.
Distance off the tee and a big bulk count make it an easy choice for golfers who lose balls often. The ionomer cover will not spin like a urethane tour ball on short shots.
Who it's for
Weekend players and range regulars who value distance and quantity will get many rounds from the box. Skilled players who need wedge spin should choose a urethane model.
Pros and cons
- Large bulk pack
- Core designed for distance
- Soft cover feel
- Three piece construction
- Compression not listed
- Ionomer cover limits greenside spin
- Cover material named differently across listing
Performance notes
Distance comes from the high energy core returning speed off the driver. The ionomer cover is durable and lower spinning, which helps keep drives straighter but reduces bite on wedges. Feel around the green is soft rather than grabby.
