Overview
Newly designed key mounting on the Hohner Bravo III cuts down disturbing key noise as the piano keys are played. A chromatic piano keyboard covers the treble side and standard buttons cover the bass side, with several voices and tone colors to choose from.
Hohner aims the Bravo III at players who need one accordion for both solo and orchestra settings. Straps and a gig bag come with it, so it is ready to carry. Reed plates are listed as standard quality, and warranty terms are absent.
Who it's for
Lessons, folk sessions and community orchestras suit this piano accordion. Players who want upgraded reeds or a hard case should look higher in the Hohner range.
Pros and cons
- Key mounting reduces disturbing key noise
- Several voices and tone colors
- Straps and gig bag included
- Suits solo and orchestra performances
- Warranty terms not listed
- Standard reed plates, not upgraded
- Gig bag rather than a hard case
Performance notes
Tone comes from the reed plates, listed at standard quality, voiced through the available voices and tone colors. The redesigned key mounting reduces mechanical noise, so less clatter reaches a microphone or the audience.
