Overview
Not a PC webcam, the Samsung Slim Fit Camera clips magnetically to the top of compatible Samsung TVs and connects by USB for video calls and Samsung Health workouts. A tilt lets you set the angle.
Owners of supported Samsung TVs get living room video calls without a separate device. Compatibility is limited to a few TV series, and the magnet can let go on tilted or rotating mounts.
Who it's for
Families with a compatible Samsung TV who want group video calls or fitness tracking will use it. Owners of other TVs or computers need a standard webcam.
Pros and cons
- Slim magnetic design
- Works with Samsung Health
- No separate device needed
- Limited TV compatibility
- May fall from tilted TVs
Performance notes
Video quality is set by the Full HD sensor and fixed focus, which suits seated viewing distances. Magnet grip depends on how the TV is mounted, and tilting or rotating mounts risk a fall. Call layout varies by TV model.
