Overview
BIC makes the Ecolutions Maxi lighters with recycled metal, ships them in recycled paperboard and offsets part of their carbon through climate projects. They are standard pocket lighters for candles, stoves and campfires.
Recycled materials and carbon offsets lower the footprint of a basic household item without changing how it works. The listing gives no lights-per-lighter, child-resistance or refill information.
Who it's for
Homes, campers and grillers who go through lighters and prefer a greener option. Deep jar candles and grills may need a long utility lighter.
Pros and cons
- Six lighters per pack
- Recycled metal content
- Partly carbon offset
- Safety and fuel details not listed
- Designs are assorted
- Pocket length for deep jars
Performance notes
These work like standard pocket lighters, so reach is limited by the short body. Environmental gains come from materials and offsets, not from any change in flame or fuel.
