Overview
Muzzy packages the VXM as a full bowfishing kit: an aluminum compound bow paired with a reel and an arrow, ready to rig for shooting fish. Draw length and weight both adjust to fit different shooters.
Getting a matched bow, reel and arrow in one order is why this kit appeals to someone new to bowfishing. Adjustable draw helps when more than one person shoots it. The listing gives few numbers, so the adjustment range is unknown.
Who it's for
Anglers starting out in bowfishing who do not want to match a reel and arrow to a bow themselves. Shooters who must confirm draw length before buying will find the listing short on detail.
Pros and cons
- Bow, reel and arrow included
- Adjustable draw length and weight
- Ready to rig for fishing
- Draw length range not listed
- Right hand only
- Only one arrow included
- Short one year warranty
Performance notes
Fit depends on setting draw length to the shooter, which the adjustable design allows but the listing does not quantify. A matched reel and arrow avoid line and rest mismatches that cause missed shots. Extra arrows will be needed once one is lost.
