Overview
A small office corner or home business desk gets print, scan, copy and fax from this Canon color laser, with a document feeder that scans both sides in a single pass. A color touchscreen runs the menus.
One-pass duplex scanning speeds up stacks of two-sided paperwork, and a three-year warranty adds confidence. It is bulky and heavy, so it needs a sturdy dedicated spot.
Who it's for
Small offices and home businesses with paperwork, fax and color reports get one machine that does it all. Photo hobbyists and small desks are poorly served by its size and focus.
Pros and cons
- Four functions in one
- One-pass duplex scanning
- Wi-Fi Direct for phones
- High capacity toner option
- Plain paper focus
- Small color starter toner
Performance notes
Scanning speed comes from the dual-sided document feeder, which reads both faces in one pass instead of flipping each sheet. Print quality relies on four fused toners, which keep text and graphics crisp but are not tuned for photos.
