Overview
Students and home office workers get a small black and white laser that prints wirelessly from computers and phones. It turns pages over on its own for two sided printing and uses Canon toner cartridges.
Quick, crisp text pages and automatic duplex make it efficient for schoolwork and paperwork. It is print only in mono, and the small paper capacity means refilling the tray often on bigger jobs.
Who it's for
Homework, tax forms and work documents are its territory, printed from a laptop or phone. Families who print photos or need a scanner will want a color all-in-one instead.
Pros and cons
- Fast black and white output
- Automatic two sided printing
- Prints from phones via Canon PRINT
- Light enough to move easily
- No color printing
- No scan or copy
- Small paper capacity
- Starter toner yield is low
Performance notes
Laser printing produces sharp text that does not smear, and print speed governs how fast long documents finish. Duplex printing halves paper use but slows each two sided page slightly as the sheet is flipped.
