Overview
Civivi built the Qubit as a light everyday folder with a corrosion resistant steel blade, a button lock and an aluminum handle with a bottle opener built in. The clip swaps sides for left or right pocket carry.
Everyday carriers get a button lock action that doubles as a fidget, a blade steel that resists corrosion and holds an edge, and a light aluminum frame. It is hand wash only, and the short blade suits light cutting rather than heavy work.
Who it's for
Opening packages, cutting cord and daily tasks suit the compact blade and fidget-friendly action. Hunters and bushcrafters need a larger, sturdier blade.
Pros and cons
- Corrosion resistant blade steel
- Two ways to open
- Fidget-friendly button lock
- Light aluminum handle
- Hand wash only
- Short blade for heavy tasks
- Blade thickness not listed
Performance notes
Edge holding and rust resistance come from the blade steel, while the button lock lets you open and close it with one hand and holds the blade open in use.
