Overview
Everyday carry in a front pocket is what this CIVIVI flipper is made for, with a reversible clip for either hand. A flipper tab swings the Damascus blade out on a ceramic ball-bearing pivot, and the milled handle gives the fingers grip.
The patterned Damascus blade and smooth bearing action give a lot of character for a daily carry knife. The listing skips the lock type, steel core and weight, so key specs need checking.
Who it's for
Collectors and everyday carriers who open boxes and mail and like a patterned blade. Buyers who need a work knife with a stated lock and steel will find too little data here.
Pros and cons
- Smooth ceramic bearing pivot
- Grippy milled handle
- Clip swaps for left-hand carry
- Patterned Damascus blade
- Lock type not listed
- Damascus needs care against rust
- No sheath or extras mentioned
Performance notes
Opening speed comes from the ceramic bearings reducing pivot friction, so a light flick deploys the blade. The hollow grind gives a thin edge for slicing, which is less suited to prying.
