Overview
A long handle landing net from Riverruns built with a wood frame and handle, weighing about 0.66 kg (roughly 1.5 lb), sold as a single net.
Wood gives the handle a traditional feel and finish compared to aluminum or composite nets. The listing does not specify hoop diameter, net depth, or mesh material, so buyers matching this to a specific fish size should confirm those dimensions separately.
- Wood frame and handle
- Long handle design
- About 0.66 kg total weight
- Sold as a single net, one count
Who it's for
Anglers who prefer a wood handled net for its look and feel over a modern aluminum or telescoping frame. Not the choice if you need a compact, packable net or know you need a specific hoop size for larger fish.
Pros and cons
- Long handle for extra reach from shore or boat
- Wood construction gives a traditional finish
- Sold as a complete ready to use net
- Hoop diameter and net depth are not specified
- Mesh material is not listed
Performance notes
The wood handle and frame add heft compared to aluminum alternatives, at roughly 1.5 lb for the whole net. Without a listed hoop size or mesh depth, how it handles larger or actively fighting fish is not something the data confirms.
