Overview
KYOCERA built this ECOSYS all-in-one to handle print, copy, scan and fax for an office from one machine with a large color touch panel. HyPAS support lets businesses add custom workflow apps.
Four functions in one networked unit replace several office devices. Its size and weight need a dedicated spot, and wireless printing is not listed.
Who it's for
Offices that scan and fax as often as they print suit it. Home users should choose a smaller desktop unit.
Pros and cons
- Four functions in one
- Fast color laser printing
- Workflow app support
- Wi-Fi not listed
- Sheet capacity figures look inconsistent
Performance notes
A shared laser engine drives printing and copying, so both run at the same rated speed. The scanner feeds documents into email, folders or fax from the touch panel. HyPAS apps can automate routing, which saves steps on repeat jobs.
