Overview
Not a disposable long lighter, the BIC EZ Load is a reusable shell that holds a BIC Maxi pocket lighter as its fuel. When the pocket lighter runs out, swap in a new one and keep using the shell.
Reusing the shell reduces waste and preserves a long reach for grills and candles. It depends on buying BIC Maxi pocket lighters for reloads.
Who it's for
Grill owners, candle users and campers suit a long-reach reloadable lighter. Anyone needing a windproof jet flame should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Reusable long shell
- Reloads with pocket lighters
- Pocket lighters included
- Long reach for grills
- Needs BIC Maxi refills
- Shell reload limit
Performance notes
The shell extends the flame of the inserted pocket lighter to a long reach, so hands stay away from the grill or wick. Fuel life equals the pocket lighter inside. Reload capacity is limited by wear on the shell.
