Overview
A graphene-infused Dual SoftFast core drives the ball speed in these Callaway Chrome Soft balls, while a soft urethane cover adds spin on short shots. Golfballs.com prints custom text on each one, and the Triple Track lines help aim putts.
Soft feel and short game bite in a ball that carries a name or message make it a gift a golfer actually uses. The specs table lists Surlyn while the bullets describe a urethane cover, so the material detail on this listing is unreliable.
Who it's for
Mid and better players who value greenside spin and a soft feel, and anyone buying a personal gift, are the right audience. High handicap players who lose balls often will burn through personalized balls fast.
Pros and cons
- Graphene-infused core for ball speed
- Urethane cover adds short game spin
- Personalized text printed on balls
- Triple Track lines help putting aim
- Cover material conflicts between bullets and specs
- Compression not listed
- Text limited to three inputs
- Custom balls are hard to return
Performance notes
Ball speed comes from the core compression and materials, while the urethane cover grips the clubface on wedges to raise spin. The dimple package is matched to the launch so the ball holds its flight window to landing. The alignment lines matter only on the green, where they help square the putter.
