Overview
Better players who go after pins get a Callaway Chrome Tour ball with added spin through the bag and a monogram of their choosing. Golfballs.com prints the custom text, and the core balances distance with soft feel.
A monogram on a tour ball gives a personal touch for a player who can use the spin and control. Buyers who choose balls by compression or exact construction will not find those details here.
Who it's for
Skilled golfers who shape shots and want spin and control, and the people buying them gifts, will appreciate a monogrammed tour model. Players who slice or hook a lot may find the extra spin makes misses worse.
Pros and cons
- Monogram with several text inputs
- Added spin through the whole bag
- Cover gives control and soft feel
- Aerodynamics aimed at stable flight
- Compression and weight not listed
- Extra spin can exaggerate side spin misses
- Sold by a reseller, not Callaway direct
- Custom balls are hard to return
Performance notes
Spin through the bag comes from the cover system grabbing the clubface, which helps wedges stop and lets better players attack flags. The core trades between distance and feel, and the dimple package steadies flight in wind. Faster swing speeds compress a tour core properly and get the full benefit.
