Overview
The Nero Sport Ninja is a foam basketball built to dribble quietly indoors, model NS-NJ700, aimed at apartments and shared spaces where a standard rubber ball's bounce noise is a problem.
Nero Sport calls the build Quiet Bounce Technology, essentially a dense foam shell rather than an inflated rubber bladder, which is what removes the hollow thump of a regular ball. The listing leans on marketing language about stealth and silence without giving a decibel figure or a clearly stated size and weight, so treat the noise reduction as real but unmeasured from this data.
- Quiet Bounce Technology foam build
- Designed for indoor training
- Matches standard ball weight and size, per the listing
- Model NS-NJ700
Who it's for
Fits anyone practicing dribbling drills indoors, apartment residents, or parents wanting a quieter ball for kids to use inside. Not the choice for outdoor courts or competitive play, since foam balls trade true bounce and feel for quiet.
Pros and cons
- Foam construction quiets indoor dribbling
- Designed to match standard basketball weight and size
- Aimed at late-night or shared-space practice
- No decibel figure or exact size given
Performance notes
The foam build is meant to absorb impact sound on the bounce rather than transmit it the way an air-filled rubber ball does, and the maker says the material matches standard basketball weight and size for a realistic dribbling feel.
