Overview
A 32GB USB 2.0 thumb drive in blue with a metal casing, a lanyard loop and a write-activity LED, built for everyday file carrying rather than high-speed backup.
This is a USB 2.0 drive, not 3.0, so treat the 32GB rating as suited to documents and photos rather than large video transfers. The seller's own notes flag that FAT32 formatting caps a single file at 4GB and that the advertised 32GB reads slightly smaller once measured by a computer, both worth knowing before buying on capacity alone.
- 32GB capacity in blue
- USB 2.0 with USB 1.1 backward compatibility
- Rated for about 50,000 write cycles
- Removable protective cap included
Who it's for
Fits anyone who wants a low-cost, small drive for carrying files between older computers or devices that only need USB 2.0. Less suited to anyone moving 4K video or large media libraries where transfer speed and file size matter.
Pros and cons
- Metal casing resists slipping and fingerprints
- LED shows write activity at a glance
- Lanyard loop keeps it on a keyring
- Works across Windows, Mac and Linux
- USB 2.0 speed, not USB 3.0
- FAT32 default blocks single files over 4GB
Performance notes
The drive is rated for about 50,000 read and write cycles and includes a small LED that lights solid red when connected and flashes during writes, an easy way to confirm a transfer finished. The matte metal casing is described as anti-skid and anti-fingerprint, and a protective cap covers the USB connector. As shipped it uses FAT32 formatting, which the seller notes cannot hold a single file over 4GB without reformatting to NTFS or exFAT.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Maspen drive USB 3.0?
No, it is a USB 2.0 drive that is backward compatible with USB 1.1 ports.
Can I store a 4GB movie file on it?
Not as shipped. It uses FAT32 formatting, which blocks single files over 4GB unless reformatted to NTFS or exFAT.
Does the actual capacity match the listed 32GB?
The seller notes factory capacity is measured differently than a computer measures it, so usable space reads a bit under 32GB on a PC.
