Overview
Not a composite, this Easton bat is one-piece alloy processed for thinner barrel walls over a wider hitting area. It suits both power hitters who like a stiff feel and contact hitters who want a balanced swing.
A large barrel and stiff one-piece feel give pop with control for travel ball. The title lists several drops without saying which applies to this length.
Who it's for
Made for youth travel ball under USSSA rules. Players in USA Baseball leagues or who prefer two-piece flex should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Large hitting surface
- Balanced swing weight
- Soft knob for leverage
- Comfortable Flow-Tack grip
- Drop for this size unclear
- One-piece transmits more sting
Performance notes
Thinner barrel walls over a wider area increase trampoline effect for hotter exit speed. One-piece alloy feels stiff, so mishits sting more than with a two-piece bat.
