Overview
Built around FlexVent shoulder straps, a padded laptop sleeve, and a self-standing base, the North Face Women's Vault is a 27 liter everyday backpack in Pink Salt, one size.
This listing files the Vault under laptop accessories, but the product itself is a general school or commute backpack that happens to include a padded laptop sleeve, not a dedicated laptop case. The FlexVent suspension is endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association, which points to shoulder and back comfort as the design focus rather than raw capacity.
- 27 liter volume
- Padded laptop and tablet sleeves
- FlexVent shoulder strap system
- Self-standing base
Who it's for
Fits a student or commuter who wants one 27 liter backpack to carry a laptop, a tablet, and everyday items with a padded, ventilated back panel. Less suited to anyone needing a hardshell laptop case or a bag built mainly around camera or tech gear.
Pros and cons
- 27 liter capacity fits a full daily load
- Padded 11.5 by 11 inch laptop sleeve
- FlexVent straps endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association
- Self-standing base for easier loading
- Filed under laptop accessories though it is a general backpack
- One size only
- Not intended for children 12 and under
Performance notes
FlexVent suspension pairs a flexible yoke with injection-molded shoulder straps so the load shifts with the body instead of staying rigid, and the padded mesh back panel with a breathable lumbar section is built to reduce pressure points on longer carries. The self-standing base keeps the bag upright for loading, and two exterior pockets fit most 1 liter bottles.
