Overview
Drummers who want big pads and easy menus get a kit with a touch screen module that works like a tablet. Wiring runs inside the frame for a tidy look, and practice pieces with real-time error correction help build skills.
Learning tools and large pads are why to buy it, giving a broad striking area and feedback while you practice. The included parts list names sticks, pads, cymbals and a USB cable, but not pedals or a throne.
Who it's for
Beginners and improving players practicing at home will lean on the lessons and recording. Experienced players who need a specific module brand for sampling should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Easy touch screen
- Large pads and cymbals
- Practice pieces with feedback
- WAV and MIDI recording
- Pedals and throne not listed
- Heavy to move
Performance notes
Larger pads give more room to hit accurately, and the module's error correction flags timing slips during practice. Layered samples change tone with stroke force. Recording to WAV or MIDI makes it easy to replay sessions.
