Fitvids High Density Exercise Yoga Mat 1/2 in

Overview

Finished in a pearly pink colorway, the AP6-PPK from Fitvids is a nitrile butadiene rubber exercise mat built for floor-based workouts such as yoga, pilates and general stretching where cushioning underfoot matters.

NBR is a denser, more cushioned rubber than the thin PVC mats often found at this size, which is why it shows up in mid-range yoga and fitness mats rather than budget travel mats. The tradeoff is a bit more weight and bulk than a foam travel mat.

• Nitrile butadiene rubber material
• Pearly pink color
• Suited to yoga and floor work
• Model AP6-PPK

Who it's for

Fits anyone doing floor work at home, from yoga to bodyweight circuits, who wants more cushioning than a thin foam mat. Travelers wanting the lightest possible roll-up mat may prefer a thinner option.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

NBR rubber compresses slightly under body weight, which softens impact on knees and elbows during floor poses compared with thin PVC mats. Because the material is denser, the mat carries more weight and rolls into a bulkier tube.
