Overview
Black and made from 100 percent NBR foam, the YM2001 is Amazon's own house-brand exercise mat for everyday floor workouts, weighing in at 2.2 pounds total.
At just over two pounds this mat sits closer to the lightweight end of NBR mats, making it easier to carry between rooms or to a class than denser rubber versions. The all-black finish is a practical, non-marking choice for shared or high-traffic floor space.

Who it's for
Works for anyone wanting a light, easy to move mat for yoga, stretching or bodyweight exercise at home. Those wanting a specific accent color will need to look elsewhere since it's black only.
Pros and cons
- Light at 2.2 pounds, easy to carry
- Full NBR foam cushioning
- Only available in black
- Lighter foam may wear faster than denser mats
Performance notes
The foam construction cushions joints during floor exercises while keeping the overall weight low enough to roll and carry without strain. Its lighter build means it will compress and show wear sooner than a denser rubber mat under heavy daily use.
