Overview
A single disc mechanism and a headphone jack do the work in the syitren retro CD player, which has no speaker of its own. Sound goes to wired headphones or over Bluetooth, and a battery plus a Type-C power cable run it.
Retro styling makes it a desk decor piece that still plays a CD collection, and Bluetooth gives a wireless option alongside the wired jack. Short listed runtime and a confusing battery description, rechargeable in one line and a AAA cell in another, hold it back as a travel player.
Who it's for
Home listening at a desk or bedside, with headphones or a Bluetooth device doing the playing. People who want room-filling sound from the player itself or a long day of portable use should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Retro look suited to desk decor
- Bluetooth plus wired headphone jack
- Type-C power cable included
- Plays standard audio CDs
- No built-in speaker
- Short listed battery life
- Battery type described inconsistently
- Single channel listed in specs
Performance notes
Playback quality depends on the headphones or Bluetooth device on the other end, since the player has no speaker. Battery life governs portable use, and the wired power cable removes that limit at a desk.

Does the syitren R300 have a speaker?
No. The listing describes it as without speakers. Use wired headphones on the 3.5mm jack or a Bluetooth device.
