Overview
Seventh Generation's Free & Clear dishwasher cleaning packs use active oxygen power to lift odor-causing residue in a monthly cycle, in a 6-count box that's EPA Safer Choice certified and 92 percent USDA biobased.
Where the rest of this batch leans on citric acid and lemon scent, this pack skips fragrance and dye entirely and leads with certifications instead, EPA Safer Choice and USDA Biobased. The tradeoff is size: 6 packs is a fraction of the 24 to 28 count boxes elsewhere here, so reorders come sooner.
- 6 cleaning packs
- Oxy-power odor removal
- EPA Safer Choice certified
- 92 percent USDA biobased, septic safe
Who it's for
Households wanting a fragrance-free, certified formula for monthly dishwasher upkeep. Not the choice for anyone wanting a full year's supply in one box or targeting hard-water limescale specifically.
Pros and cons
- EPA Safer Choice certified
- No dyes or artificial fragrances
- 92 percent USDA certified biobased, septic safe
- Only 6 packs per box versus 24 to 28 in competing tablets
- No review text provided to confirm cleaning results
Performance notes
The pack works through active oxygen rather than citric acid, aimed at lifting odor-causing residue from everyday dish soils like stuck-on food rather than mineral scale. It's meant to run in an empty dishwasher, placed in the dispenser cup or the bottom of the tub if it doesn't fit, on a normal cycle, with monthly use as the stated cadence.
