Overview
The Fitvids SF2TRY-RC95 is a cast iron weight plate set totaling 95 pounds across 12 pieces, finished in black, sized for standard barbell loading.
As a plate set rather than a single item, the value is in how the 95 pounds is broken into 12 pieces, which allows finer loading increments than a set made of two or four large plates. Cast iron construction is heavier and denser than bumper plates but generally louder if dropped and less floor-friendly.
- 95 pounds total across 12 pieces
- Cast iron material
- Black finish
- Model SF2TRY-RC95
Who it's for
Suits home lifters building out a barbell setup who want incremental plates for progressive loading. Not the choice for anyone who needs plates rated for dropping, since cast iron is not built for that.
Pros and cons
- 12 pieces allow finer loading increments
- Cast iron construction, standard for barbell plates
- Cast iron plates are not designed for dropping
- No plate size or hole diameter listed
Performance notes
Twelve pieces across 95 pounds means smaller individual plate weights on average, useful for fine-tuning a load rather than jumping in large increments.
