Overview
The Weighted BX-004 is a polyester training vest with a fixed 16 pound load, listed at 7.42 kilograms total, built for adding resistance to running, bodyweight or conditioning work.
Unlike vests sold as an adjustable shell alone, this one lists a matched size and weight figure, 16 pounds and 7.42 kilograms, pointing to a fixed load vest rather than one where you add your own weight inserts. Polyester construction favors breathability and durability over the shell during sweaty training sessions.
- Polyester training vest
- Fixed 16 pound, 7.42 kilogram load
- Black finish
- Built for running and bodyweight conditioning
Who it's for
Runners or bodyweight trainers who want a fixed 16 pound load to add resistance without adjusting weight themselves. Not a fit for anyone who wants to vary the load across different sessions.
Pros and cons
- Fixed 16 pound load for consistent training resistance
- Polyester construction suited to repeated, sweaty sessions
- Weight is fixed rather than adjustable
Performance notes
At a listed 16 pounds, or 7.42 kilograms, the BX-004 adds a consistent load across the torso, which is the main mechanism behind vest training, raising the effort of running, calisthenics or conditioning drills without changing the exercises themselves. Polyester construction supports repeated, sweaty use better than more delicate fabrics.
