Overview
Bosch 312477 is a dishwasher cleaner sold as 4 single-use sachets, each 1.6 oz, for a total of 6.4 oz. It targets limescale and grease buildup inside the machine during a normal wash cycle.
Unlike cleaners that need their own cycle, this one is added to a regular wash, so upkeep does not cost extra water or time beyond the load already running. The 4-sachet pack lines up with the brand's suggested monthly, or every-30-cycle, use, which covers roughly four months of maintenance from one box. The target is buildup on spray arms and filters specifically, the parts most likely to clog and quietly reduce wash performance before a dishwasher shows any obvious fault.
- 4 single-use sachets, 1.6 oz each
- 6.4 oz total per pack
- Used during a regular wash cycle
- Recommended monthly or every 30 cycles
Who it's for
Suits anyone running a dishwasher regularly who wants a simple monthly maintenance step rather than descaling by hand. Less relevant for a household that already runs a dedicated descaling cycle or lives with very soft water and little mineral buildup.
Pros and cons
- Runs inside a normal wash cycle, no separate program needed
- Targets spray arms and filters where clogging actually starts
- 4 sachets cover about four months at the recommended interval
- Needs a normal full cycle to work as intended, not a quick wash
- One box only lasts around four months of monthly use
Performance notes
Because the cleaner works during a standard cycle rather than a special one, results depend on running it on a normal full wash rather than a quick or eco cycle that uses less water and heat. Monthly use is the stated interval, since buildup accumulates gradually and a single use will not undo months of scale.
