Overview
An omnidirectional element under a low profile dome lets the Winegard Air antenna pull in TV signals from every direction, so there is nothing to rotate at each campsite. A built in low noise amplifier boosts weak signals before they reach the cable.
No aiming plus a slim rooftop shape make it easy to live with on an RV that moves often. Mounting hardware and cabling are not listed, so plan the install before ordering.
Who it's for
Full time RVers and weekend campers get set and forget reception. Viewers in remote valleys may need a directional antenna for weak stations.
Pros and cons
- No aiming needed
- Low wind profile
- VHF and UHF reception
- Built in amplifier
- Mounting hardware not listed
- Reach falls in hilly terrain
- No streaming or Wi-Fi features
Performance notes
Reception depends on distance to towers and line of sight, since an omnidirectional design trades some reach for not needing to aim. The amplifier helps weak signals but cannot recover stations blocked by hills.
