Overview
The Fitvids QD740-2INFW-2.5LB-PX2 is a 4-piece cast iron plate set totaling 10 pounds, which works out to four 2.5 pound plates based on the model number and total weight.
This is a small increment set built for fine adjustments between working weights rather than for loading a bar to a heavy total on its own. Bore diameter is not stated, so match it against your bar or dumbbell handle sleeve size before ordering.
- 4-piece set
- Cast iron construction
- 10 lb total (2.5 lb per plate)
- Black finish
Who it's for
Fits a lifter who wants precise small jumps in load, useful for progressive overload once bigger plates stop giving small enough increments. Not meant to be a primary heavy plate set.
Pros and cons
- Small 2.5 lb increments for precise progression
- Cast iron for durability
- 4-piece set covers two pairs
- Bore diameter not specified
- Not sized for heavy standalone loading
Performance notes
Cast iron is a durable, dense material for plates, giving a compact size relative to weight, which matters more for small plates like these where bulk on the bar sleeve is a consideration.
