Overview
A Maxi pocket lighter slides into the long EZ Load shell and becomes the fuel cartridge, so the shell reloads instead of being thrown away. Seven Maxi lighters in the box cover the reloads and pocket use.
Reloading the shell with pocket lighters you already buy reduces waste and gives reach for grills and candles. The listing does not give the shell's reach length, only the package size.
Who it's for
Grillers and campers who want a long lighter plus spares. Buyers wanting a refillable butane torch should look at a torch lighter.
Pros and cons
- Shell reloads instead of being tossed
- Spare pocket lighters included
- Long reach for grills
- Reach length not listed
- Reload count capped by the shell
Performance notes
Each Maxi lighter fuels the shell until empty, then gets swapped out; the shell itself is rated for a set number of reloads. The child resistant trigger needs a deliberate press.
