A six pack of short wand lighters that reach into jar candles, grills and fireplaces more easily than a pocket lighter. The wand is short, so deep fire pits still need a longer lighter.

Overview
A home cook, candle lover or grill owner gets six wand lighters here, each with a short extended neck that moves fingers back from the flame. They are child-resistant and come in assorted gradient designs.
Reaching wicks in deep jars and burners on stoves without scorching fingers is what these lighters do well. The wand is only modestly longer than a pocket lighter, so very deep spots need a full length utility lighter.
Who it's for
Kitchens, candle displays and patio grills suit these wand lighters. Campfires and large fire pits need a longer reach.
Pros and cons
- Holds fingers away from the flame
- Six lighters per pack
- Fits in a drawer
- Wand is short for fire pits
- Designs vary by pack
- Not refillable per listing
Performance notes
The extended neck places the flame ahead of the hand, which reaches into jar candles without tilting them. The child-resistant mechanism needs a firmer press than a basic lighter. Each unit is quality inspected before packing.
