Overview
A solo guitarist or bassist gets a drum machine pedal that is stepped on to trigger fills, transitions and song parts in real time. Audio leaves over a quarter-inch connection, and the sound aims at a natural acoustic kit.
Foot control leaves both hands on the instrument while the drummer part follows the player. The listing covers sound character and controls but says little about outputs, power or how many songs it holds.
Who it's for
A singer-songwriter or small-venue guitarist will use the footswitch to change sections in the middle of a song. Beat makers who program patterns on a grid will want a different kind of machine.
Pros and cons
- Foot-controlled fills and transitions
- Natural acoustic kit sound
- Compact pedal size
- Song parts on demand
- Power details missing
- Song capacity not listed
- Warranty handled through the seller
Performance notes
Each press of the footswitch moves the drum part to a fill, a transition or the next song section in time, so the player steers the beat without stopping. The output goes to an amp or mixer through the listed audio interface.
