Overview
Mesh heads over dual-zone pads give a quiet, responsive feel on this Alesis kit, and a stand-mounted hi-hat moves more like an acoustic one. The module ships with BFD and Zildjian sounds, Bluetooth for play-along, and USB MIDI for recording.
Real hi-hat placement and choked cymbals help players learn advanced technique quietly. The hi-hat works with a standard stand, but that stand is sold separately.
Who it's for
Beginners and intermediate players practicing in bedrooms and apartments. Gigging drummers wanting large pads and cymbals should look higher up.
Pros and cons
- Quiet mesh heads
- Movable stand-mounted hi-hat
- Choke on all cymbals
- Drumeo lessons included
- Hi-hat stand sold separately
- Small cymbal sizes
- Heavy listed weight
Performance notes
Dual-zone pads read head and rim separately, which governs how many articulations you can trigger. The movable hi-hat controller tracks openness, while mesh tension sets rebound and noise.
