Overview
The ATN Thor 6 Elite is a thermal riflescope built on a 640x512, 12 micron sensor rated at 15mK NETD or better, with a built-in laser rangefinder, ballistic calculator, and a 1920x1080 OLED display.
The rangefinder and automatic reticle adjustment are meant to remove manual holdover guesswork at the shot.
- 1920x1080 OLED display
- Picture in Picture and Hot Point Tracking
- WiFi streaming and onboard video recording
- About 9 hours runtime on 18650 batteries
Who it's for
Fits a hunter moving up to a first thermal scope, or an existing ATN owner wanting a lighter option with a built-in rangefinder. Less relevant to buyers who only need daytime optics, since this is a dedicated thermal unit.
Pros and cons
- Built-in laser rangefinder with automatic reticle adjustment
- Replaceable, widely available 18650 batteries
Performance notes
The 640x512 sensor with 12 micron pixel pitch and 15mK or better NETD sensitivity feeds SharpIR AI processing meant to sharpen edges rather than just boost heat contrast. The built-in laser rangefinder pairs with a ballistic calculator to adjust the reticle automatically once distance is measured. Replaceable 18650 batteries provide roughly 9 hours of runtime, and the body is rated as recoil resistant and weather resistant.
