Overview
An open-top automatic litter box with 7 pairs of safety sensors and anti-pinch protection, built with a lowered step to make entry easier for senior cats.
The open-top design skips a hood, trading odor containment for easier visibility and access, which the listing pairs with a senior-friendly entry step and a heavier sensor count than typical automatic boxes.
- Open-top automatic design
- 7 pairs of safety sensors
- Senior-friendly access step
- 21 by 15.75 by 21.85 inch footprint
Who it's for
Cat owners wanting automated cleaning with extra emphasis on safety sensors and easier access for older or lower-mobility cats. Less suited to owners who prefer a covered box for odor control.
Pros and cons
- Open top with easy-access step for senior cats
- 7 pairs of safety sensors with anti-pinch protection
- 1 year manufacturer warranty
- No lid, so odor and litter containment relies on the open design
- At 20.6 pounds it's not a lightweight unit to relocate
Performance notes
The 7 pairs of safety sensors are built to detect a cat inside the unit and halt the cleaning cycle, reducing pinch risk during automated raking.
