Overview
A Quick-Loc takedown joint lets the Excalibur RevX TD come apart in seconds and lock back to zero with no tools. Recurve limbs drive the arrow, a built-in crank cocks and decocks quietly, and CeaseFire blocks firing unless an arrow is seated.
A recurve that packs small, cocks with little effort and will not dry fire suits hunters who hike or fly to their spots. The equipped weight adds up, and warranty terms are not in the listing.
Who it's for
Hunters who hike in, drive far or fly get a compact, safe package. Those who leave the bow in one stand may not need takedown features.
Pros and cons
- Breaks down with no tools
- Returns to zero after assembly
- Integrated crank cocks and decocks
- Dry fire prevention
- Warranty only on maker site
- Heavy when fully equipped
- Recurve limbs are wide
Performance notes
Return to zero depends on the Quick-Loc joint seating the same way each time. Recurve limbs transfer energy efficiently, and suppressors with the sound deadening kit cut noise. The crank lowers effort to a light pull, making cocking easy in a stand.
