Who it's for
A strong fit for gift buyers setting up a frame for parents or grandparents who want a simple, no-subscription way to receive a steady stream of family photos. Less suited to anyone who wants to load photos in from an SD card, since this frame has no card slot.
Pros and cons
- Free unlimited photo and video storage, no subscription
- Multiple people can upload to one shared frame
- Plays short videos with sound and live photos
- No SD card slot to load or export photos
- Relies on WiFi and the Aura app to function
Performance notes
The frame connects over WiFi during setup and pulls photos from the Aura app, email, iCloud or Google Photos rather than from local storage the owner manages directly. It supports iOS live photos and video clips up to 30 seconds with sound, along with wireless screen mirroring from a Windows PC.
