Overview
A Wi-Fi connection and the Aura app feed this Aura Carver frame: family and friends add photos from anywhere, and smart pairing places two portrait shots side by side on the landscape screen.
Easy, shared photo sending for families spread apart is the reason to give it. The listing contradicts itself on screen size, which matters for a gift.
Who it's for
Suited to gifting and shared family albums. People without home Wi-Fi or who want to load photos from a memory card should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Unlimited photos and videos
- Family can add from anywhere
- Built-in speakers for video
- Setup in about a minute
- Screen size listed inconsistently
- Video clips are short
Performance notes
Photos sync over Wi-Fi from the app, so a stable connection decides how fast new pictures appear. Auto shut-off powers the screen down when the room is empty.
